THE MUSEUM NEEDS YOU TO SAVE IT!
(Click HERE to see past updates)
March Field Air Museum is in distress and needs the community to step up to save it from being turned into an event center.
Jamil Dada, the President of the Museum's Board of Directors, has decided to eliminate the professional museum staff in order to pursue his goal of changing the museum's mission away from honoring veterans and preserving history to one focused on venue rentals. His unilateral decision was made without informing, or involving, the Board of Directors.
Jamil Dada and the Vice President of the Board Mel Gutierrez recently called a volunteer meeting, explaining the museum's new mission of eliminating the archives entirely and selling artifacts and aircraft from the collection in order to fund more important projects (like the new building already dedicated as the ”Dada Memorial Welcome / Events Center!")
Let's be clear - this is NOT a case of disgruntled employees or simple management issues. This is an assault on our history, our veterans, and the values embodied by the Museum itself. Ask
The Faces Behind the Exhibits
Here are some of the faces and stories behind the exhibits and priceless artifacts in the musem.

Maurine (Brunsvold) Wilson
"When I walked through the museum and saw the cap my mom donated (WASP), my heart was filled with pride. This was several years ago. Haven’t seen it there since. They told me it was tucked away while they renovated" - daughter Lori Butler.
